    Zone 2 Aerobic Base

    Thursdays
    4:15 PM (Zone 2 Run)
    Meet outside F45 Ambleside Beach

    An easy, conversational pace Zone 2 run along the beautiful Ambleside Seawall. Essential for building the aerobic engine required for hybrid racing and endurance events.

    The Goal: HYROX Vancouver 2026

    While everyone is welcome to run with us regardless of their goals, our training is specifically periodized to peak for HYROX Vancouver in December 2026. Whether you're aiming for a competitive time or just want to cross the finish line, training with a group keeps you accountable and pushes you further.

    Meet the Lead

    Dr. Oakley Brown

    As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® and former competitive track and field athlete, Dr. Oakley understands the demands of endurance training firsthand. He's dedicated to his own health and fitness, actively participating in strength training and running.

    He founded the HSL Hybrid Run Club to build a community of like-minded athletes who push each other to improve. By combining his clinical expertise in sports medicine with his passion for running, he helps members train smarter, avoid injuries, and peak at the right time.

    Whether you're aiming for a HYROX PR or just looking to build a stronger aerobic base, Dr. Oakley is out there putting in the miles with you every Thursday.
